Past Fantasy Outlooks
2005
2004
2003
Diggins missed all of 2004 after having elbow surgery. He returned to pitch a few innings in the Arizona Fall League and looked good. He'll begin the season in either Double-A or Triple-A and his future is in the bullpen.
Diggins showed tremendous promise during the first half of 2003 but then hurt his elbow and had Tommy John surgery in August. He will spend 2004 rehabbing and hopefully he can help the Brewers in some capacity in 2005.
The Brewers are hoping that Diggins can win a starting role this spring. After coming to Milwaukee in a late season trade, Diggins dominated Double-A batters and was called up in September. He was plagued by inconsistency during his eight big league starts but also showed a lot of promise and a blazing fastball. If he can cut back on his walks, he could be a little bit of a surprise in 2003.
