RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks

2014

There was no outlook written for Bob File.

2004

Limited to 13.2 innings pitched all year due to offseason shoulder surgery, File will need to re-establish himself at Triple-A before he can be expected to find himself at the back end of the Toronto bullpen.

2003

A strained rib cage in spring training and subsequent struggles landed him back at Triple-A for all but five forgettable appearances early in the season. His poor K/BB and K/9 rates will continue to be a limiting factor. He's firmly behind at least Cliff Politte among Toronto relievers should Kelvim Escobar get traded. Probably not worth even a look in the reserve rounds in the deepest of AL-only leagues.
