RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks

2014

There was no outlook written for Lee Gardner.

2008

He doesn't have dominant stuff, but minor league closer Gardner proved he can get major league batters out in 2007. Between Triple-A and the bigs he's allowed just five home runs in 150.1 innings over the last two years, a tremendous rate due more to his control than a great sinker. He figures to be a valuable bullpen arm for the Marlins, although he may not get much of a chance at saves.
