RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks
There was no outlook written for Mike Nakamura.
Nakamura could challenge for a spot in the Minnesota bullpen after getting his first taste of the majors last season. He struggled with the long ball in his first trial in the majors (four homers in 12.2 innings) but still showed good command with 14 strikeouts and just two walks. He could be a surprisingly effective reliever if given a chance in 2004 as he was dominant at Triple-A.
Pitched well for the Australian Olympic team in 2000. Prospect who could battle for a bullpen job, but will likely open the year at Class AAA. Born in Japan and raised in Australia.
