RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks

2013

There was no outlook written for Justin Thomas.

2009

Thomas, a fourth-round selection in 2005, earned a September promotion to Seattle last season after a good year between Double-A and Triple-A in which he struck out 127 in 135.2 innings (8.4 K/9). Thomas' fastball is in the low 90s, but he has both a good changeup and slider. Best-case scenario for him is a bullpen job this season, but he'll probably be sent back to Triple-A for more development.
