2008 Fantasy Outlook
Collazo reminds many of Pedro Feliciano while on the mound, though Collazo uses a changeup instead of a slider to retire hitters. After blazing through Double-A Binghamton, with a 6-5 record, 2.86 ERA, WHIP less than 1.000 and 72 strikeouts in 97.2 innings pitched in 2006, he went 6-5 with four saves and a 2.46 ERA for Triple-A New Orleans last year to earn the promotion to the big leagues. Look for him to battle for a role as another lefty specialist in the Mets' pen.
