2011

Butler saw his status fall a little in 2010 with mediocre performances at Double-A Huntsville and Triple-A Nashville. He'll return to Nashville in 2011 and provide some starting depth, but may end up becoming a bullpen arm if he makes it to the majors.

2010

Butler showed up on the prospect radar in 2009 by advancing three levels through the minors and then got a few games of experience in the majors. He doesn't have impressive strikeout or walk numbers, but he keeps the ball in the park. The Brewers think he can be a back-of-the-rotation starter in the majors with a little more work, so he'll start the season at Triple-A Nashville and wait for an opportunity to show his stuff in the majors.
