RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks
There was no outlook written for Kentrail Davis.
Davis preformed like a top prospect should in 2010, hitting .335/.421/.518 for Low-A Wisconsin. At 22 years old, he should be doing this well at that level, but he's still a raw athlete more than a ball player at this point. Davis has the potential to hit for power and average if he can turn his athleticism into skills, but he'll need to prove himself at High-A and Double-A before we'll get too excited.
Davis was selected by the Brewers with the 39th overall pick in the 2009 draft out of the University of Tennessee. He signed late and did not play in any minor league games, but drew rave reviews from the Brewers' brass during workouts at their Arizona instructional facility. Davis is an extremely athletic outfielder who needs to refine his tools as he works his way up through the minors.
