2010
After a short stint in the majors, Parr struggled at Triple-A in part due to missing six weeks to an elbow injury. He showed good control between the majors and Triple-A with a 32:10 K:BB ratio, but it's not clear if he can strike out enough batters to be successful in the majors. With Atlanta's starting pitching depth, Parr will likely spend most of the season at Triple-A.
2009
The 2004 fourth-round pick has been unheralded but productive the second year at each level and got a shot with the Braves in September. He's always had great control in the minors, but it's not clear if he can strike out enough batters to be successful in the majors. Parr will likely start at Triple-A Richmond, but could win a spot in the rotation or bullpen this spring.
