The NBA Trade Deadline arrives at 3 p.m. Eastern on Thursday.
While most of the trade rumors that have been bandied about for the past couple months turn out to be nothing but hot air, there are usually a couple of deals completed on deadline day that have a fantasy impact.
Last year, we saw the Warriors send Monta Ellis to Milwaukee for Andrew Bogut. Neither Bogut nor Ellis saw their respective values change much in the grand scheme of things, but Ellis' departure from Golden State opened up significant playing time for Klay Thompson, who was one of the bigger second-half surprises last season.
Fantasy stalwarts like Josh Smith, Paul Millsap, and Kevin Garnett have been the focus of numerous rumors, but like Bogut and Ellis, their overall fantasy value probably won't change much if moved. Instead, fantasy owners will want to target the next Klay Thompson.
