Dominique Whaley

Whaley went from walk-on to workhorse for Oklahoma last year, producing as one of the nation's top backs while totaling 627 yards and nine touchdowns (5.6 YPC) in six games last year. Unfortunately, his season ended at that point after suffering a broken ankle. He's expected to be ready for the start of this year, but it's not clear that he'll be at full strength, and Roy Finch's strong 2011 season will open the door for a running back committee. Whaley needs to be owned in Big 12-only leagues, in any case, and is a justifiable pick in other formats, too.
