With QB Jacob Karam turning into a pumpkin, Rucker's numbers suffered mightily in this game. Still, he's been able to produce even when Karam has played bad and should still be viewed as the best fantasy bet on this Memphis roster.

Rucker was irrelevant last year, mostly due to injury, and finished 2011 with just 20 catches for 195 yards and a touchdown. In the year before that, however, the big wideout finished with 41 catches for 704 yards and eight touchdowns. Rucker definitely has the ability to make an impact for Memphis, so draft him late in Conference-USA-only leagues and keep an eye on him in other formats, too.
Rucker had a strong 2010 season, totaling 704 yards and eight scores while averaging 17.2 yards per catch. But the loss of promising quarterback Ryan Williams to transfer means that there might be worse quarterback play for Rucker this year. Still, he was extremely impressive in the second half of last year, so it's not easy to bet against him.
Rucker did well as a freshman and third wideout option in 2009, catching 18 passes for 241 yards and two touchdowns. He has a big opportunity in 2010 with top wideouts Duke Calhoun and Carlos Singleton gone, so he's probably a good WR3 pick in CUSA-only leagues.
