This is yet another blow USC's tight end depth with it already being announced last week that Bryce Dixon would not be returning to the team. Cope-Fitzpatrick did not play last season either after he was ruled academically ineligible. At this point, USC will likely have to turn to Connor Spears, Taylor McNamara, or Tyler Petite at tight end, although there are less well-known depth options on the team as well.
