Reed died early Friday morning in Ypsilanti, Mich. and his death is being investigated as a homicide, Sports Illustrated reports.
ANALYSIS
Reed, a native of Chicago, was a junior and had appeared in all six games for Eastern Michigan this season. It's a very sad day for the Eastern Michigan football program and college football.
