Rabe had one catch for 10 yards and a touchdown against Michigan on Saturday.

Rabe's touchdown was his only target of the day. He has done little since catching three touchdowns in the first two games of the season. Right now, he is not an attractive option for fantasy owners.

2012 Fantasy Outlook
Minnesota's 2011 starter at tight end (Eric Lair) was a non-factor last year after posting nice numbers in 2010, and that's because the offense of coach Jerry Kill doesn't utilize the tight end position much. Rabe could be a player to monitor in Big Ten-only leagues this year, but after catching just four passes for 36 yards and two scores in 2011 he's mostly off the fantasy radar.

Minnesota quarterback MarQueis Gray commented back in April that Rabe, a senior tight end for the Gophers, was "one of the secret weapons on the team" and would "be able to do some things for us to help us score points" in 2012. Nate Sandell of 1500 ESPN recently went event further, calling the tight end "the lynchpin" to Minnesota this season shedding the label as the Big Ten's worst offense.
