Colar Kuhns: Michigan St. Adds Preferred Walk-On at QB
Kuhns was added as a preferred walk-on at quarterback for Michigan State's Class of 2014 on Monday evening, MLive.com reports.
ANALYSIS
The Spartans prior to Monday evening had not signed a quarterback as part of its Class of 2014. Kuhns, a 6-3 and 205-pound passer formerly committed to Cornell, however now takes the place of Chris Durkin, a top-20 ranked QB from Youngstown, Ohio, that dropped MSU in favor of Virginia Tech back on Dec. 16. Kuhns passed for more than 2,000 yards and 21 touchdowns as a junior, and threw for more than 1,500 yards as a senior with 10 touchdowns and more than 500 yards rushing.
