Derrick Thomas: Boise St RB Dismissed from Team
Boise State head coach Bryan Harsin announced during the recent Mountain West Conference Media Day that Thomas has been dismissed from the team for violating team rules, the Idaho Statesman reports.

Thomas, a junior college transfer from Butler Community College in Kansas, was expected to compete for the backup tailback job in fall camp. He had what the Idaho Statesman calls "a disappointing first season" with Boise State in 2013, carrying 32 times for 95 yards and no touchdowns, but apparently "showed signs of a turnaround in spring ball."
