Young officially transfered to Washington on Sunday, Christian Caple of the News Tribune reports.
ANALYSIS
Young was dismissed from Oklahoma in May of 2015 due to violation of team rules and spent last season at a junior college. The 6-foot-1 wideout will have two years of eligibility at Washington. As a redshirt freshman for the Sooners in 2014, Young caught 19 passes for 225 yards and a touchdown. Last season with Riverside Community College he totaled 40 receptions for 421 yards and six touchdowns in nine games. He will likely compete for first-team reps with the rest of the unproven Washington receiving corp.
