ANALYSIS
With Ravizza playing just six plays before leaving Saturday's contest in the first quarter with muscle spasms in his back, the Spartans were forced to turn to veterans Blake Jurich and Joe Gray, both who were unable to practice at the beginning of the week because of their own injuries, to finish out the game. Jurich initially took over for Ravizza, but was forced to leave the game himself after reinjuring the same left knee that forced him out of last week's match up at Utah State. Gray then stepped in for Jurich and finished 9-of-13 passing for 90 yards and a touchdown.
