A four-star prospect and member of Auburn's 2016 signing class, Rice was dismissed from the program during his freshman year after a Title IX investigation found him "responsible" for sexual assault in an incident that occurred in April 2016. The tight end ultimately transferred to Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, with whom he played last season. He'll now look to continue his playing career at the FCS level.
