ANALYSIS
Dare's decision to transfer came after he decided that he wasn't a good fit for offensive coordinator Drew Mehringer's spread offense, as he saw himself as more of a pro-style quarterback. He will have to sit out one year at whatever school he chooses with three years of eligibility still remaining, and with fellow quarterbacks Chris Laviano and Hayden Rettig both electing to transfer as well, Gio Rescigno and Zach Allen will be competing for the starting job next season.
