Long shot to make the team as a reserve running back.

Wright had just 29 carries his rookie year, and unless injuries strike either of the Bills’ top two backs, his touches aren’t likely to increase by much. Worse yet, Buffalo drafted Xavier Omon, a big, between-the-tackles runner similar to Wright who will compete for the No. 3 job. Stay away in all but the deepest of leagues.

Wright was selected in the fourth round of this April's draft. He probably won't be more than a role player this season because the Bills drafted Marshawn Lynch and re-signed Anthony Thomas, but he'll be battling Shaud Williams for any of the remaining carries. He doesn't have blazing speed and isn't a small guy, which could allow for a shift to fullback at some point during his career. The Bills think they got a steal in Wright, so he could see a small role get bigger during the season, possibly even as a goal-line back. If something happens to one of the two main backs, Wright could end up playing a much more important role down the stretch.
