Signed a four-year deal with the Steelers in June of 2013.
Jones is confident he can rise to the expectations of his team this season, a belief that is shared by coach Mike Tomlin, according to Steelers.com. "I expect [Jones], and I expect us, to continually get better even as we push through opening day and into this season," said Tomlin.

This would likely be the only time to evaluate the unit as a whole, as most starters are expected to see limited action, if any, in their final preseason game against the Panthers.

The Steelers will look for Jones to start sooner rather than later. It's hard to envision Jason Worilds holding off Jones for more than a week or two into the regular season. Like most 3-4 outside linebackers, Jones' IDP upside might be limited by the position he plays, because it rarely affords itself to many tackle opportunities.
