ANALYSIS
Anderson was one of those college players who always seemed on the verge of breaking out only to fall short of expectations. Standing at 6-foot-5, 244 pounds, he caught eight touchdown passes in his first two years at South Carolina, and on just 22 receptions. The big upside he flashed over those two years seemed to evaporate in the next two, however, as he would go on to score just one more touchdown in his college career. Injuries were a fairly consistent issue for Anderson in 2013 and 2014, and a persistent triceps issue prevented him from running at all in pre-draft workouts. In any case, if he can regain the explosive form he showed early in his career at South Carolina, this could be a steal for the 49ers.
