2024 Projections
Will become free agent
The Buccaneers informed Adjei-Barimah, who was set to become a restricted free agent March 14, that he won't be tendered a contract for 2018,Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times reports.
ANALYSIS
Adjei-Barimah missed the entire 2017 season with a knee injury but was just cleared by his surgeon to resume football activities earlier this week. Though he's now healthy, the Buccaneers evidently didn't think Adjei-Barimah was worth retaining as a depth cornerback, so he'll hit the open market in mid-March. Only 25 years old, Adjei-Barimah has NFL starting experience dating back to 2015 and could attract attention from several teams on a short-term deal.

Past Fantasy Outlooks
2016
2015
Adjei-Barimah surprised last season by working his way into the starting lineup following his October 2015 signing. The soon-to-be second-year pro ran with the first team for most of the latter part of the campaign for the Bucs last season, finishing with 41 tackles (34 solo), two tackles for loss and a pass defensed. However, the Bowling Green product was inconsistent in coverage, finishing as PFF's 83rd-ranked corner by season's end. He was relegated back to second-team with the offseason signing of Brent Grimes and therefore projects to offer very limited fantasy value in 2016.
