ANALYSIS
Fackrell was placed on the Raiders' injured reserve in late July but was released with an injury settlement last week. While the nature of his injury wasn't revealed, his workout with Baltimore signals that he's likely moved past the issue.

Fackrell wasn't able to generate a significant market during the offseason despite tallying 4.5 sacks with the Giants last year, ultimately settling on a one-year deal with the Chargers. He's expected to rotate in during pass-rushing downs primarily.
The former Packer signed as a free agent this offseason and should see fairly regular snaps rotating in at outside linebacker.
After two non-descript seasons to begin his career, Fackrell broke out in 2018, more than doubling his career sack total with 10.5 sacks. The Packers still elected to heavily address the rush linebacker position during the offseason, adding both Za'Darius Smith and Preston Smith via free agency while selecting Rashan Gary 12th overall. Fackrell's showing last season figures to keep him in the mix at the position, but it's unlikely his snap count increases, and it will be hard for him to match last year's sack total if he does not secure a spot in the starting lineup.
Fackrell was mainly a part-time player in 2017 for the second year in a row, but he did up his production later in the campaign, totaling 17 tackles and all three of his sacks over the final seven games. He will head into Week 1 in the same role as last year, but could find himself more involved at some point given the injury histories of starting OLBs Clay Matthews and Nick Perry.
Fackrell appears to be more of a long-term project for the Packers than immediate contributor. At press time, he is buried under not only Clay Matthews, Nick Perry and Julius Peppers on the teams OLB depth chart, but also the likes ofDatone Jones, Jayrone Elliott and street free agent Lerentee McCray. Ultimately, Fackrell doesn't seem poised for significant playing time in 2016 and can be completely forgotten in IDP leagues.
