RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks
There was no outlook written for Al Harris.
Expected to be the club's nickel back in 2011.
Harris will try to return from a knee surgery last November and may not be ready when the season starts. At 35, he may need some extra time to heal and may never be the same as he was before the injury.
Harris and Charles Woodson form one of the best cornerback tandems in the NFL. Harris was probably the most underrated defensive back in the NFL last season. He tailed off a little toward the end of the season, but played at a pro bowl level for most of the year.
Harris isn't a top level CB in the league but he's been able to get the job done. He's also the best CB that the Packers have. Green Bay's other young CB's will get tested more than Harris this season, leaving him fewer opportunities for making plays.
