RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks

2014

There was no outlook written for Doug Gabriel.

2007

Explosive young WR has played well but yet to break out. Traded to NE prior to the 2006 season, and was subsequently cut during the season and resigned with the Raiders. With the departure of Randy Moss, Gabriel could get a chance in 2007. Currently slated as the #3 behind Ronald Curry and Jerry Porter.

2006

Gabriel has the size and speed to be a legit receiver in the NFL. He was stuck behind Randy Moss and Jerry Porter on the Raiders' depth chart, but was obtained by the Pats on Sept.2 with Deion Branch still a holdout. He has averaged 15.8 yards per reception during his three year career and could be sleeper pick if he is a quick study in his new team's offense.

2005

Gabriel will need a major injury to Randy Moss, Jerry Moss and Ronald Curry before he can be considered for your rosters. He's currently battling for the No. 4 and No. 5 wide receiver positions.

2004

The second-year pro is considered a project and will be buried on the depth chart again this season.
