Manuwai will start at either guard or center.
Manuwai will start at guard in 2009.
Manuwai will start at left guard.
Manuwai enters the 2007 season as the Jags' starting left guard, and he will occupy most of his time opening holes for Maurice Jones-Drew and Fred Taylor in what is one of the league's best run offenses.
Manuwai has become a staple at left guard over the past three seasons. Like most of the Jaguars offensive linemen, he is not a superstar but performs steadily throughout the season. Manuwai, a third-round selection in 2003, ended up starting 14 games for Jacksonville in his rookie season. He will remain the team's starting left guard.
Third-round pick in 2003 out of Hawaii.
