RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks

2013

There was no outlook written for Marques Douglas.

2009

The former Raven is penciled in as the Jets starting right defensive end.

2008

Douglas is the rare breed of defensive end that doesn't generate large sack totals, but he does rack up tackles. He will compete for a starting role for Tampa Bay this season.

2007

Should be one of the starting ends as the 49ers switch to a 3-4 defense. Douglas usually is one of the better tackling ends, notching 61 last season, which somewhat makes up for his low sack total.

2006

Starting defensive end in the 49ers' 3-4 defense. Had 44 tackles and a disappointing one sack last season, so will need to increase that proudction to warrant the three-year deal he signed in April 2005.

2005

Re-united with Mike Nolan, his defensive coordinator in Baltimore, and will be the starting right defensive-end in the 49ers' new 3-4 scheme. Should be one of the better defensive lineman in the league.

2004

Expected to start again at defensive end for the Ravens.
