RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks

2013

There was no outlook written for Rocky Boiman.

2009

Will serve as a reserve linebacker and special teams contributor in 2009.

2008

Reserve linebacker who will also help on special teams.

2007

Boiman adds depth at strongside linebacker and has been a good special teams performer throughout his 5-year career. He re-signed with the Colts after playing in 16 games last season and totaling 20 tackles. With the departure of Cato June, Boiman could see an expanded role this season.

2006

Depth LB and top-shelf special teams player.

2005

Boiman will serve as strongside LB Peter Sirmon's primary backup.

2004

Boiman demonstrated his big-play ability last season when he started at outside linebacker in place of an injured Peter Sirmon, recording 18 tackles, two interceptions, and a touchdown in his first three games as a starter. Sirmon is healthy this season, however, and Boiman will be relegated to the bench, but we expect head coach Jeff Fisher to make sure that Boiman sees a decent amount of playing time.
