RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks
There was no outlook written for Corey Williams.
Williams will be a reserve lineman for the Detroit defense.
Williams was among one of the many of the Browns' disappointments during the 2008 season after being acquired from the Packers. He is looking to make a turnaround after making only half a sack following two straight seven sack seasons. He is also recovering from off-season shoulder surgery which doesn't help his cause.
Williams is a large addition to the Browns' defensive line. He and fellow new-addition Shaun Rogers look to make a big splash in Cleveland's 3-4 scheme.
Williams has been improving drastically throughout his career so far, and will again be a starter on the Packers' defensive line. He had a career-high and team-leading seven sacks last season and will again have pressure to be the backbone of the D-Line. He doesn't get a ton of tackles, but the seven sacks probably make a difference if your league forces you to use defensive tackles.
