RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks
There was no outlook written for Gerald Sensabaugh.
Sensabaugh's picks and sacks gave him a little IDP value in 2010, but he wasn't a difference-maker at safety for Dallas. He returned on a one-year deal when the Cowboys weren't able to find an upgrade in free agency, but don't expect him to put up better numbers in Rob Ryan's defense.
Sensabaugh will likely inherit Roy Williams' starting safety spot and provide the Cowboys with better pass coverage abilities, but he doesn't have the IDP upside Williams possessed earlier in his career.
Sensabaugh, who missed all of 2007, will battle Brian Williams for a starting safety spot in 2008.
Sensabaugh enters the 2007 season as the Jaguars' starting strong safety after the release of longtime Jaguar Donovin Darius. He collected only 44 tackles and two interceptions in 16 games last season, so we would not single out Sensabaugh as a top IDP for fantasy purposes in 2007.
