RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks
There was no outlook written for Marcus Hudson.
Will back up Chris Gamble and Richard Marshall at CB.
Hudson will be a deep reserve at cornerback and should see limited action on the field.
Hudson, who battled knee injuries in 2007, will enter traning camp as the starting safety.
Hudson initially lined up at safety in last year training camp as a rookie but was moved to cornerback midway through camp. He is big (6-2, 198) and showed dramatic improvement in his coverage skills during the year. Hudson showed a knack for making plays on the ball during this season's OTAs and may end up backing up Mark Roman at free safety or Walt Harris ar right cornerback.
Transitioning from safety to cornerback, will be used on passing downs.
