RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks

2014

There was no outlook written for Jimmy Williams.

2007

Williams was switched from corner to safety this off-season in somewhat of a surpise move. The Falcons appear a little thin at corner and already have reliable safties, but the switch was made regardless. Williams has the size to be a successful saftey and should challenge the incumbent Chris Crocker for playing time. Williams probably won't have a huge impact this season, as he'll be learning a new position, but it appears the team sees more future value in him at safety rather than at corner.

2006

Williams will start the season as the team's nickelback, and could eventually over take Jason Webster for the starting cornerback spot opposite DeAngelo Hall.
