RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks
Dawson, who appeared in just three games for the Titans in 2012 due to injury, looks to stay healthy in 2013, and contribute, as he sits second on the depth chart at left defensive end behind Derrick Morgan. He should find himself on the field a lot more in 2013.
Started two games at right end last season and has the versatility to play anywhere on the defensive line. A run stopping specialist, Dawson will start the year as Robert Mathis' backup at left end.
Dawson is the starting left defensive tackle for the Colts in 2009. The 23-year-old from Texas Tech recorded 42 tackles and zero sacks in 2008. Do not expect him to have much of an impact in an IDP league.
Dawson will find playing time tough to come by, as he'll enter the season no higher than No. 5 on the Colts' depth chart as defensive end.
Dawson adds another body to the depth chart on the defensive line. Whether he will see any playing time, and whether that will be at defensive end or defensive tackle remains to be seen.
