RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks
There was no outlook written for Juqua Parker.
Parker had a rough 2011 season, battling an ankle injury most of the year and finishing with just 10 tackles and 1.5 sacks. Over his five previous seasons with Philadelphia, however, he was able to register an average of 33 tackles and six sacks. This is the type of production Cleveland will be looking for as they brought Parker in to be a supplementary player along the defensive line and help bolster the attack opposite standout rookie performer Jabaal Sheard.
Will serve as a primary rotation option at end.
Parker could lose his starting role to rookie Brandon Graham. Parker is a liability on running downs at this stage of his career.
Parker has averaged 5.3 sacks over the past three seasons, and last year's 45 tackles were a career-high. He was active against the pass for a defensive end, recording an interception while defending seven passes. Still, he'll likely be a part of a rotation in the Eagles defensive line, limiting his IDP value.
