Parker worked out for the Saints on Monday, NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports.
ANALYSIS
Parker was released by the Giants after a drop-riddled first two games of this season, but is still an option for teams to consider following his 36-catch campaign last year. With that in mind, it will be interesting to see if Parker's workout results in an offer from the Saints.

Parker will compete for the fourth receiver job behind Odell Beckham, Victor Cruz and Rueben Randle. Parker's a possession receiver who lacks downfield speed or red-zone size.
Will compete for a reserve wideout job.
After catching 40 passes for 454 yards with Tampa Bay in 2011, Parker was released by the Bucs in September 2012. He will compete for a roster spot at wide receiver with the Saints. However even if Parker makes the team, he will be a long shot to hold significant fantasy value absent injuries.
Parker, who was rewarded with a two-year contract extension this offseason, is coming off a breakthrough 2011 in which he caught 40 passes for 554 yards and three touchdowns after hauling in just four receptions for 42 yards as a rookie in 2010. Parker, who had two catches over 50 yards last year, became one of Freeman’s go-to guys when the Bucs needed to move the chains, with 25 of his 40 catches going for first downs. Bear in mind Parker also is the primay punt returner (23 returns for 210 yards in 2011) and fill-in kickoff returner (20 returns for 439 yards in 2011). Expect similar, perhaps slightly better, numbers from Parker in 2012 to what he posted in 2011 assuming he holds down the No.3 WR job.
The Bucs like Parker's versatility, speed and cheap contract, so he may be able to stick around in 2011 as a backup WR and KR.
Will try to stick with team as a depth WR.
