Lemon was an unknown factor in Houston's wideout picture. He was an undrafted free agent in 2013 and sat out the season with a hamstring injury. The Syracuse product caught everything thrown to him in organized team activities, but has several other receivers competing against him in training camp and was eventually released as part of the first cuts.
Lemon, signed as an undrafted free agent out of Syracuse, was a standout receiver for the Orangemen, setting career and single-season records for receptions. For Houston, he's among at least four players competing for the a final spot at wideout. And that spot's just a temporary one while DeVier Posey (ankle, PUP) works his way back into shape.
