RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks
There was no outlook written for Marqueston Huff.
Huff will have to serve a one-game suspension for violating the league’s substance abuse policy, which will put him behind the eight ball in a deep crop of Titans safeties that includes presumed starters Da’Norris Searcy and Rashad Johnson, rookie third-rounder Kevin Byard, Daimion Stafford and Josh Aubrey. The 2014 fourth-rounder has just 33 tackles while playing mostly on special teams in his first two seasons, and an increased role almost certainly isn’t in the cards.
Huff is a versatile free safety who can also play cornerback in a pinch. He started one game as a rookie in 2014, and will contribute on special teams regardless of his role on the defense.
The fourth-rounder currently slots in as a reserve strong safety for Tennessee, but could eventually be shifted to cornerback.
