2024 Fantasy Outlook
There was no outlook written for J.P. Hayes in 2024. Check out the latest news below for more on his current fantasy value.
July 21, 2010
Hayes will tee it up this week at the RBC Canadian Open.
ANALYSIS
He has cooled considerably since notching three top-10s in his first seven events and is riding a two event missed cut streak. Putting is Hayes' strength (2nd, putting average) and he will need to get hot with the flatstick if he's going to cash a check this week.

Hayes is on the tail-end of his PGA TOUR career, and even though he had a bit of a resurgence last season, it's not likely that the momentum from carries over to this year. Hayes earned three top-10s last season, but he made the cut in little more than half of his entries. Hayes putted extremely well last season, ranking fifth on the PGA TOUR. His performance off the tee, however, wasn't impressive.
I am not sure if there is any gas left in the 45 year old, but i will be pulling for him for sure. Hayes DQed himself in the 2008 Q School and received a lot of attention for his honesty. I admire his integrity, but his integrity has not helped Hayes retain his card on the PGA Tour. Good Luck Mr. hayes, I will be pulling for you even though you will not be on my fantasy team.
J.P. Hayes has never cracked the million dollar mark on the PGA Tour. He's come close a couple times, but each year is pretty much a battle to keep his card for the next year. There's no reason to select Hayes at a price near his ceiling.
In a limited number of events, Hayes played well enough to secure his card for 2007. The problem with Hayes is he only played well twice last year, once at the John Deere Classic, which is not known for a strong field, and fall event.
