RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks

2012

Jobe has spent much of the past decade battling an assortment of injuries, yet he somehow managed to put together the second-best season of his career in 2011. Jobe collected four Top-10s, including a runner-up finish at the Memorial. That's where the good news ends, however. Jobe's long history of injuries makes him almost undraftable. He's certainly not a wise pick in salary cap leagues as you never know when he'll be done for the season.

2007

After years of battling injuries, Jobe finally showed what he was capable of in 2005 when he earned more than $2 million. Last year he had a setback, but his 2007 numbers should be somewhere in the middle.

2006

Jobe was finally battled through injuries in 2005, and showed what he could do when healthy. Jobe was playing on a major medical extension to start '05 and he did well enough at the Bell South Classic, second place, to earn his card for the year. From there he carded five more top-10s. Jobe has the ability to do well when healthy. Therein lies the problem, however. Can you count on him to stay healthy? $2.1 million is a big chunk to risk on someone who has only stayed healthy once in the last few years. Give a tentative go ahead on Jobe for 2006. He played a full season last year, 27 events, and was no worse for the wear.
