Billy Andrade: Past News Updates ( ▲ View most recent update )
RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks
Andrade isn't the type of player you hang with all season. He's usually good for a four- to five-week stretch each year where he makes most of his money. It's been the trend the last few years anyhow. Andrade has produced very well from time to time on the PGA Tour, but it seems like he's destined to end up in a spot like this (87th on the money list) each year. If you draft Andrade, expect about the same production in 2007.
Andrade had a nice bounce-back season in 2005. After consecutive years where he couldn't tip the $700k barrier, he smashed through that number after only four months. The problem, however, was he only made about $300k the last eight months of the year. After the mediocre play in 2003 and 2004, the first half of 2005 seems like the aberration. If Andrade had backed up the good start, there'd be more reason to look at him here.
