The Flyers have re-signed Jonsson to a one-year two-way deal, The Philadelphia Inquirer reports.

ANALYSIS
Jonsson is expected to begin the season in the AHL, but it's quite likely he will spend some time with the Flyers next season. It's doubtful he will have any fantasy value in 2007-08.

Jonsson had a good season offensively for a very good team in Sweden this year, although he still had some defensive problems in a league where two-way postional play is strongly emphasized. Hopefully, Jonsson's all-around game will prove to be better suited to the NHL than the European game. If not, at least Philadelphia has him on a two-way deal, so the risk is minimal.

Jonsson is a former first round pick of the Bruins and will be spending his first season in North America in 2006-07. Jonsson has some offensive skills, so if given the chance he could be a good player. Keep an eye on him.
