Fischer will enter his junior season for the Michigan Wolverines this upcoming year.
Fischer was the recipient of Minnesota's Mr. Hockey Award, the honor given to the best high-school age player in the best hockey state in the country, in 2006. He's a good two-way defender already and he's a right shot, which means his value will be even higher than most defensemen. He's a good three to four years away and will likely spend the full four years at the University of Michigan, where he's headed next season.
