Sundstrom is a good defensive forward, someone dependable for killing penalties and taking care of both ends. However, his stay with Montreal is questionable at best, as there are several prospects looking for his roster spot. Sundstrom is not a particularly fast skater and that hurts his chances to compete for time on any of the top three lines.
