Ryan starts the season at Manchester in the AHL. The speedy center is currently a fringe prospect.

He probably will be a call up at some point of this season, and if he makes an impression could stick with the team.

The Kings are deep at center so Ryan is going to get the short end of the stick and be sent back to the AHL probably before the end of training camp. It would take a massive amount of injuries for him to get a shot this season, but it is the Kings so that's not out of the question.
