Regier has never been able to make enough impact in his time in the AHL nor the brief stints with the Isles to warrant serious consideration. This year remains no different as the team did not even invite him to the prospect mini-camp. He'll call Bridgeport home yet again.

Regier doesn't bring a ton of offense to the table, but can score some goals. He definitely does not shy away from contact, so that and his size (6-foot-4) may get him to the NHL one day. Still needs some AHL seasoning.

The tall winger had a quiet debut in the AHL in 2004-05 with 22 points in 75 games. He doesn't shy away when the game gets physical, which may one day help him make the NHL.
