RotoWire's Preseason Outlooks
There was no outlook written for Brian Lashoff.
A stay-at-home defenseman, Lashoff provided six points in 2013-14, and more importantly, played 75 games in a season wracked by injuries for the Red Wings. He's not much of a fantasy threat, but plays an important role in Detroit.
Lashoff struggled a bit in his first Red Wings campaign, as he had the worst plus/minus on the team with a minus-10. He did score five points in 31 games, but spent the end of the season and the playoffs as a healthy scratch about half the time. Lashoff will be one of the defensemen jockeying for the final few roster spots in the fall, and has a decent shot of being the sixth or seventh blue liner.
