Nikita Alexeev

Delicate and uncoordinated are the best ways to describe this once-promising behemoth. Alexeev stands 6'5" and about 210 lbs but boasts the speed of some of the NHL's fastest men. But, and it's a big but, this guy has never really figured out how to use all of his tools together and remains among the ranks of those with "untapped potential." With the Lightning making a hard and fast run to win another Cup in 2005-06, Alexeev will most likely be left in Springfield for the entire season. And for those of you in keeper leagues with roster limits on your minor rosters, you'll soon be faced with the decision to either fish or cut bait. At this point, we lean toward the latter.
